Role

You will working with either children or adults and working with them both in clinic and clients homes/school/day programs (throughout Southwest Sydney and the Illawarra region), as part of a multidisciplinary team of practitioners, to improve outcomes for disadvantaged people. Some of the duties you will perform are:

  • NDIS Functional Assessments
  • ADL/ Functional Assessments for SIRA and CTP
  • SIL/ SDA Assessments
  • Prescription of a range of equipment
  • Minor and major home modifications.

 
As the senior OT you will often have the more complex cases. You can choose to provide supervision to more junior staff, or if that is not your thing, you won’t have to!
 
Criteria

  • AHPRA registration.
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities and those with complex needs.
  • Understanding of NDIS plans.
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle – you will be required to use your own vehicle and receive a generous KM allowance.
