Type: Multiple roles available (Permanent and Casual)
Location: Wagga Wagga region
Remuneration: Hourly rate in the range of $36-38.5 per hour plus additional penalty rates + super + salary packaging. Full leave entitlements and good earning potential (some youth workers can make close to 100k per year!).

Role
Supporting the House Manager in the coordination of day-to-day operations, you will incorporate a trauma informed therapeutic framework into supporting young people with high and complex needs in residential care. You will be providing young people with consistency, support and safety, and helping to implement individual case plans to support young people in achieving positive outcomes in their education, physical and mental health.
Candidate – Due to the funding of the program you MUST meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Degree level qualifications in related field.
- Studying towards degree in related field (and some experience with youth and conflict resolution).
- Diploma qualifications in related field AND experience working with young people with challenging behaviors.
- Identify as Aboriginal AND have experience working with young people with challenging behaviors.
Furthermore, you will also need:
- Flexibility – The role will follow a roster so you could be required to work day, nights and weekends shifts.
- Drivers licence.

In return you will be offered an hourly rate based on SCHADS level 3 ($36 – 38.5/hour plus casual loading and additional penalty rates) + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a NFP organisation.
