Salary: SCHADS level 3 ($34 – 36.5/hour plus additional penalty rates) + super + salary packaging. Great earning potential.

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading Not For Profit organisation to assist in the recruitment of a number of Youth Workers for their residential out of home care program. Role
Supporting the House Manager in the coordination of day-to-day operations, you will incorporate a trauma informed therapeutic framework into supporting young people with high and complex needs in residential care. In this role, you will be providing young people with consistency, support and safety, using individual case plans. The purpose of this role to support young people to achieve positive outcomes in their education, physical and mental health.
Requirements
- Experience working with children/young people with challenging behaviors.
- Relevant qualifications (Cert 4, Diploma, Degree, or extensive experience and willing to obtain).
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection and an understanding of statutory child protection frameworks. Ideally OOHC experience.
- Flexibility – The role will follow a roster so you could be required to work day, nights and weekends shifts.
- Drivers licence.
