Type: Permanent, Full Time (may be some opportunity for PT).
Location: Canberra Region
Salary: $90 – 115K (pending experience) + Super + Salary Packaging
Role
This position is responsible for guiding and supporting carer and staff interactions with children and young people in OOHC care, conducting assessments, developing behaviour support plans, therapeutic treatment plans and leading reflective practice to support carers and staff. you will ensure appropriate assessments procedures, risk assessment and therapeutic planning processes and outcome measurements and undertaken for each child.

Candidate
- Degree level qualification in Psychology or Counselling, Social Work or related field (with post grad training).
- Experience in completing assessments for young people.
- Cognitive behavioural and behaviour change therapy application.
- Experience in a child protection related role (preferably in residential or OOHC)
- Driver license
Supervision and support is may be available for suitable (experience with young people with complex behavioral issues) provisional psychologists interested in this position.
Further Info
In return you will be offered a base salary in the region of $90K – 115K + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a NFP organisation.
