Salary: FTE: $92 – 104K + Super + Salary Packaging

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading welfare organisation to recruit for a Therapeutic Specialist for 2 separate programs that support young people at risk of, or who are experiencing homelessness. Role
Your role will be to guide staff interactions with young people eligible for the program(s). You will work across two similar programs; one is an innovative initiative aimed at adolescents exiting Juvenile Justice, the other is working with young people (aged 12-15) who are experiencing homelessness, to help improve their outcomes. You will carry out assessments, develop therapeutic treatment plans, provide clinical expertise and therapeutic leadership and where possible work with the families with the aim of restoration in a systemic way.
Candidate
- Degree level qualification in Psychology or Counselling, Social Work or related field.
- Experience in completing assessments for young people.
- Cognitive behavioural and behaviour change therapy application.
- Experience working with vulnerable young people (Juvenile Justice, OOHC, Homelessness, etc)
- Driver license
Supervision and support is available for suitable (experience with young people with complex behavioral issues) provisional psychologists interested in this position.
Further Info
In return you will be offered a base salary in the region of $92K – 104K (FTE) + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a NFP organisation.
