Part Time Case Manager – Young Women Support Services

The Client:
Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by well established NFP organisation that have a number of services that support vulnerable women to assist in the recruitment of a part time (3 or 4 days/week) case manager. The position, based at their refuge in the Inner West, will be to work in their refuge and outreach services that support young women who are having a difficult time and are at risk of homelessness or homeless.
 
The Role:
In this position, you will be providing case management support to young women who have experienced domestic violence, homelessness and complex needs. You will ensure a holistic therapeutic care environment is created, facilitate group work and training, risk and needs assessments, advocacy and general support to a caseload of clients.

The Successful Candidate:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Qualifications in a social work, Social Work, Community Work, Psychology or Counselling or related field
  • Experience in case management in a therapeutic, trauma-informed framework with clients with complex needs
  • Knowledge in child and youth development, homelessness and safety planning
  • Current WWCC

 
Further Info
In return you will be offered a salary in the region of $85-89k (pro rata) + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a Not-for-profit organisation. The exact salary is to be negotiated on dependent upon experience and qualifications.
 
This role is to work 3 or 4 days/week. Due to the nature of the service they are looking for some of the days to be worked 12 – 8pm.
