The Opportunity

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading community aged care provider to assist in the recruitment of a Manager for their community aged care program based in Wollongong on a full time permanent basis.
The Position

In this role you will oversee a multidisciplinary team that provide support to aged clients that receive support through the Commonwealth Home Support Packages (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), allied health services and community engagement in the Wollongong region. You will ensure services are being provided within accreditation standards and policies, mentor a the team to ensure their development needs are being met, and ensure services are being provided within the budget for the services.
The Person

To be considered for the position you will need to demonstrate:  

  • Qualifications in Nursing, Social Work or related area
  • Proven Managerial experience in a similar service such as aged care or home support
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and nurturing teams 
  • An understanding of the needs of aged clients requiring home care support
  • Drivers’ license and vehicle 

Further Info

In return you will be offered a base salary in the region of $92-97k + Super + the salary packaging benefits associated with working for a NFP organisation.
