Salary: $73 – 90K (pending experience) + Super + Salary Packaging (based off a 35 hour week)

Role

Working with internal caseworkers and potentially external clients, your role will be to provide cultural support to children and young people engaged in some form of the child protection system. You will develop cultural care plans, programs and activities that are tailored to the cultural needs of the young people involved, with a focus on connecting children back to their family, country and community.

Candidate

• Qualifications in social work, psychology or related field.
• Experience working in a child protection related role (ideally OOHC)
• A strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture (ideally understanding Stolen Generations and transgenerational trauma)
• Drivers licence.
