Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading not for profit organisation that support children and families across Australia, to assist in the recruitment of a Family Therapist in their program working with families who have children at imminent risk of being placed in out of home care. The role is available immediately – so get in touch today!
Role
As the successful candidate, your role will be to work with a caseload of families, providing therapeutic interventions consistent with the therapeutic model. You will help families overcome their barriers to engagement with services and motivate families to create a context for change, addressing risk factors and strengthen protective factors for families.
Candidate
- Degree qualifications in social work or related field.
- Experience providing therapeutic interventions in a group setting.
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable children and families – ideally child protection experience.
- Driver license
Further Info
In return you will be offered a base salary in the region of $76-80K + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a NFP organisation. You will also get flexible working conditions (ability to work from home sometimes), a supportive team environment and other perks.
