Location: Balmain office location (some travel required)

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have partnered with Full Stop Australia to assist with the recruitment of their new CEO on a permanent full time basis. Full Stop Australia is here to put a full stop to sexual, domestic or family violence through support, education, and advocacy. The Role:
 
The role has overall strategic and operational responsibility for staff, programs, expansion and execution of FSA’s mission. The CEO role will report to the FSA board and will effectively oversee all parts of the organisation. In conjunction with the Executive Team, you will:

  • Resource and support the organisation’s governance structure.
  • Manage the organisation internally and build a thriving and supportive workplace culture.
  • Maintain quality management, quality assurance and quality improvement practices.
  • Facilitate efficient and sustainable financial management.
  • Strategically position the organisation, build partnerships and lead in systems advocacy
  • Advance the organisation’s opportunities and development.

 
The Successful Candidate:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  •  An understanding of the causes, consequences, and prevention of sexual, domestic and family violence and a commitment to and understanding of the provision of services from a feminist perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion and drive a culture of integrity and professionalism within the organisation and in engagement with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the creation of inclusive workplace systems that enables all staff to practice inclusion and value the diversity of people , experiences and backgrounds. 
  • Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate and engage with stakeholders to solve problems and develop strong processes and approaches to work.  
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and experience and knowledge in policy development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial and business management.
