The Organisation:
Welfare Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a leading NFP organisation that have a range of services that support women and children that have experienced domestic violence to assist in the recruitment of an Executive Operations Manager to oversee their client services, quality, policy and impact. This is a 4 day/week position and the remuneration is for 4 days, i.e. not pro rata. 

The Role:
The role is responsible for delivering on the organisations wider vision and the successful delivery of client services and business operations. You will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered with quality at the forefront and in line with funding and policy guidelines as well as overseeing new business and growth opportunities.

The Successful Candidate:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Significant leadership experience in the human service sector
  • Experience in coaching team members and driving continuous improvement
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field, e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Public Policy 
  • An understanding of the challenges facing women and children affected by DFV

Further Info:
In return you will be offered a salary in the region of $130-140k + Super + the salary packaging benefits of working with a NFP organisation. That salary is for the 4 days, the Full-Time Equivalent would be $160-175k.

Working as part of a holistic team your role will be to provide comprehensive case management support to families, carers and children in foster care placements. You will supervise, assess and support carers to ensure placements are safe, nurturing and child focused. Where possible you will also help keep children connected to culture and help maintain a relationship with birth families.

Candidate

  • Degree qualification in social work, psychology or relevant community welfare fields.
  • Previous case management experience. 
  • Experience in OOHC and an understanding of child protection issues.
  • Drivers license.

Diploma level qualifications considered with extensive OOHC Casework experience.
