Welfare Recruitment Solutions have partnered wit a leading not for profit organisation that provide a range of support services to women in the the ACT to assist in the recruitment of an AOD Operations Manger to over see a range of women support services in the ACT on a full time permanent basis.
 
The Role:

As a successful candidate you will responsible for managing a range of AOD services. You will provide strong leadership and work to achieve the maximum potential of the teams you manage, ensure services are delivered in a safe and compliant way, build relationships with stakeholders and assist with reporting the service outcomes to relevant funding bodies.
 
Candidate: 

  • Qualifications in social sciences or related field
  • Experience managing services that support women who have experienced domestic violence and/or homelessness
  • Ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in leading service delivery in a trauma informed way

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading women’s support service provider in ACT to assist in the recruitment of a Case Manager to women with AOD presentations on a full time, permanent basis in the ACT.
Role
As the successful candidate, your role will be to provide wrap around, trauma informed support to women with complex comorbid AOD presentations. You will:
  • Undertake comprehensive client assessments, including safety and risk.
  • Undertake AOD interventions
  • Support colleagues with clients that can at times be unpredictable, distressed or uncooperative
  • Provide accurate records of all aspects of support provided to clients including: case management plans, identified needs, priorities, goals, action, notes, or other relevant information or documentation to meet legal requirements.
Criteria
As the successful candidate, you will: 
  • Ideally degree level qualifications in social work, psychology, nursing or related field (Diploma level qualifications with extensive experience would also be considered)
  • Experience working with women with complex needs
  • Well-developed communication and teamwork skills

Are you an experienced OOHC case manager with a passion for supporting young people? This role may be for you!
 
Role 
Working as part of a holistic team your role will be to provide comprehensive case management support to children in OOHC. Where possible you will also help keep children connected to culture and help maintain a relationship with birth families.
 
Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or relevant community welfare fields.
  • Previous case management experience in a child protection related service.
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people with complex needs (ideally OOHC).
  • Full Australian driver’s license.

Role
As the successful candidate, your role will be to assist in the facilitation of a psycho-educational group. You will facilitate group therapy sessions, group based interventions to reduce or cease participants AOD use. You will assist participants to establish healthier relationships and lifestyles. Most of the content is already in place as this is an established program so we’re really looking for someone who can facilitate it, as well as updating this periodically. 

 

Criteria
As the successful candidate, you will: 
  • Degree level qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, social work or related field 
  • Extensive counselling experience working with people that have experienced significant trauma and disadvantage
  • Experience facilitating group sessions with participants with trauma backgrounds
  • Well-developed communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in AOD would be highly regarded but not essential but willingness to develop skills in this area is essential

  • To coordinate the daily care and support of resident young people;
  • To create and support a therapeutic social environment within the home;
  • To provide leadership, support and supervision to staff in the care and management of each young person

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary level qualifications.
  • Experience working with young people in residential OOHC.
  • Previous experience in leadership and providing supervision of staff (preferably residential OOHC).
  • Drivers licence.
