Welfare Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Site Facilitator on a full time basis for a not for profit organisation that support vulnerable women and children based in the inner west of Sydney. The role is to be offered on an initial 12 month contract with the view to it being extended/made permanent. 
 
The Role:

You will be responsible for reception duties which will include providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact to women entering the service who maybe in crisis, general administration duties, including, room booking systems, fleet management and WHS functions, and facilities maintenance and coordination.
 
Candidate: 
 
To be considered for this position you will have previous administration/reception experience. You will have excellent IT skills, clear communication skills and be very organised. This could be someone who has studied social work/community services and is looking to get into the sector or someone who has worked in a similar role and wants to work in a not for profit organisation.

In return you will be offered a salary in the range of $67 – 72k + Super + the benefits of Salary Packaging associated for working with a Not-for-profit organisation. There are also other perks including additional wellness leave and $500 pa to spend towards wellness.
 
Due to the nature of the role this role would need to be worked in person, 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday.

Program Officer

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by an industry leading not-for-profit to assist in the recruitment of a Program Officer to join their team that run a mentoring program on a full time permanent basis at their service in the Inner West of Sydney.
 
The Role:

As the successful candidate your role will be to help facilitate a mentoring program that pairs women that have experienced things such as homelessness, domestic violence, and general social disadvantage with other women that, through mentorship, can assist them engage in work, training or education. You will have a particular focus on building relationships with and educating social support services that may refer women to the program. Other duties will also include recruiting and training volunteer mentors and planning and coordinating workshops.
 
Candidate:

To be considered for this role you will have some, if not all of the following:

  • Experience developing and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Experience implementing and evaluating programs in a community services setting
    Practical understanding of the drivers and impacts of domestic and family violence on women and children
  • Experience working with women with complex needs
  • Experience managing volunteers
  • Experience providing training in a workplace and/or adult education setting.

Operations and Accrediation Manager

The Client:
Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by well established NFP organisation that have a number of services that support vulnerable women to assist in the recruitment of an Operations and Accreditation Manager on a full or part time basis. The role would be based in the Inner West of Sydney with some flexibility to work from home a day or two a week.
 
The Role:
In this position, you will oversee the operational management for the organisations with a focus on the Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES) accreditation process with support from the CEO and The Board of Management. Further to this you will coordinate administration, including Finance, WHS, risk management and office management across the organisation.

 
The Successful Candidate:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated experience with Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES) accreditation process
  • Qualifications in qualifications in business management, social work, or another relevant discipline
  • Skill and experience in data analysis and outcomes measurement
  • Financial acumen around financial management, budgeting, reporting, and control
  • Ideally experience working in the community services sector

Domestic Violence Case Manager

Salary: $80-88k + super
Type: Full-time – 12-month fixed term.
 
The Client:
Our client is looking for a DV specialist, do you have experience helping women escape domestic violence? Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by an industry leading not-for-profit organisation to assist in the recruitment of a case manager for their domestic violence crisis service for vulnerable women on a 12-month fixed term, full-time basis in Sydney’s Inner West.

The Case Manager provides family violence risk and needs assessment, safety planning, crisis support and short-term case management to all incoming referrals for victim-survivors, referred by the DV Line, Link2home, and other specified referral agencies.

In this position you will be working within a team supporting women in a single women’s temporary accommodation.

You will be required to travel to outreach appointments.
 
The Successful Candidate: To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Experience working with women and children escaping domestic and family violence
  • Experience in case management and in a domestic violence service women’s support service
  • Experience in needs assessment, safety planning, case coordination and advocacy for service users and in individualised outcomes- focused service delivery
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services or equivalent

Homelessness Case Worker

Type: 30 hours a week – Permanent position
Location: Upper Hunter Region 
Salary: Level 4 of the SCHADS award ($74 – $80k) + super +  the benefits of salary packaging

Do you case work experience and have a passion to support those experiencing homelessness? Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by an industry leading not-for-profit to find a homelessness Case worker. This position provides support, advocacy and information to assist young people, men, women and families’ risk of, or experiencing homelessness, working within a case management framework, and appropriate to the individual needs of the client. 

The organisation provide comprehensive support and training to staff including external supervision and providing an annual allowance for training and development. They have a fantastic work culture which has an emphasis on team building. 

In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work or in relevant discipline, or extensive relevant experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds using ‘best practice’ client centred framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to problem solve and resolve conflict.
  • A current Driver’s License.
  • Previous case work experience working with people at risk of and experiencing homelessness.
