The Role

Working for an organisation that promotes safety and supports vulnerable young people in the child protection space, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring staff, as well as developing strategies to maintain staffing pipelines. You will be screening, interviewing and onboarding successful candidates, liaising with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, as well as providing essential HR services.
 
Requirements
 

  • Child protection related experience (either working in, or recruiter for).
  • Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field – although relevant Child Protection related qualifications (Diploma in Community Service, Bachelor of Social Work, etc) plus recruitment experience would be highly received.
  • Previous recruitment and HR experience.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

The Role

Working alongside senior management, your role will be to ensure the day to day operation are meeting the regulatory compliance, ensuring operational integrity of the service. You will oversee the organisations activity,  identify and assess risks related to child safeguarding, which will ensure that children in residential OOHC are in a safe environment. You will also liaise with the OCG to ensure accreditation standards are being met.
 
Requirements
 

  • Degree level qualifications in social work, psychology or related fields,
  • Extensive Child Protection experience (OOHC would be an advantage)
