Salary: $120-130k + super + the benefits of salary packaging

The Organisation:
Welfare Recruitment Solutions have partnered with Blacktown Youth Services Association Inc. (BYSA) to assist with the recruitment of their new CEO on a permanent basis. BYSA is a social impact organisation dedicated to nurturing young people and creating social change in the community. Located in the heart of Blacktown, BYSA provides a vibrant sanctuary submerged in youth culture and creativity.

The vision is to build young people to be inspired, skilled and civically engaged members of the community. Everything we do is to ensure that no young person gets left behind.

The Role:
BYSA are a  a youth led organisation on a growth trajectory and want to expand their services while ensuring sustainability so they can help as many young people as possible. The CEO will drive this growth and roll up their sleeves to ensure the strategic and operational success of BYSA in achieving its vision and values. The CEO will report to the board and is responsible for leading the organisation and, in partnership with the Board, BYSA staff and stakeholders, advancing the BYSA vision through successful implementation of its Strategic Plan and foundational outcomes.

The Successful Candidate:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, community development or similar
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships related to funding negotiation, contract management and philanthropic engagement
  • People leadership experience (leading a multidisciplinary team)
  • Corporate governance experience including financial management of organisational budgets
  • High level reporting and analysis skills
  • Commitment to improve the quality of life for the Blacktown community including children, youth and their families

In return you will be offered a salary in the region of $120-130k + Super + the salary packaging benefits of working with a NFP organisation.
