Type: Full-time – 12-month fixed term.
The Client:
Our client is looking for a DV specialist, do you have experience helping women escape domestic violence? Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by an industry leading not-for-profit organisation to assist in the recruitment of a case manager for their domestic violence crisis service for vulnerable women on a 12-month fixed term, full-time basis in Sydney’s Inner West.
The Case Manager provides family violence risk and needs assessment, safety planning, crisis support and short-term case management to all incoming referrals for victim-survivors, referred by the DV Line, Link2home, and other specified referral agencies.
In this position you will be working within a team supporting women in a single women’s temporary accommodation.
You will be required to travel to outreach appointments.
The Successful Candidate: To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Experience working with women and children escaping domestic and family violence
- Experience in case management and in a domestic violence service women’s support service
- Experience in needs assessment, safety planning, case coordination and advocacy for service users and in individualised outcomes- focused service delivery
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services or equivalent

In return you will be offered pay in line with level 4-5 of the SCHADS award ($80-88k) + super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a Not-for-profit organisation. The exact salary is to be negotiated on dependent upon experience and qualifications.
